While your information is being stored in the SONIS database, it can only be viewed by authorized personnel for the purposes stated (recruiting, volunteer activities, etc.). Prior approval is always needed to gain access to the information in the database. The database is protected through several security measures.

Other than the uses above, MedCentral College of Nursing does not provide information to anyone not associated with the College. The only exception being when the College is required by law to provide information, or to protect the College and our users.

Within the MedCentral College of Nursing website are opportunities to make requests for information or register for volunteer and other participatory activities. By registering information on medcentral.edu, you agree to release your information to the appropriate people as described on the site pages. These people include faculty, administrators and authorized employees of the College, the MedCentral Health System, and The Ohio State University, Mansfield. The MedCentral College of Nursing website has software in place to block any unauthorized users of web-forms, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to this database.
